This grass-like perennial is typically grows 6-12 inches tall in spreading mat-forming habit. Bunches of brown seed capsules dangle high on the stem. Deer resistant. It performs best in full sun to partial sun conditions. It prefers rich, moist, well-drained soil. An excellent selection as shade groundcover and border.
